Training Programs
Reducing susceptibility to sport injuries means more time
playing and less time injured. Mead Street Physio provides
specialised individual and team-training exercise programs designed
to reduce susceptibility to injuries, build core-body strength and
increase fitness.
We currently work with our sponsored sporting clubs to indentify
and implement training drills that condition the athlete
specifically to the forces of their sport. Neil Drouet from
Mead Street Physio is an Exercise Physiologist in addition to a
Physiotherapist. Exercise Physiologists study the body's
response to exercise and are leaders in the field of exercise
prescription. Jason Wells also from Mead Street Physio,
is a Sports
Physio which is a specialised area of physio. Sports
Physios are world leaders in the management of sporting injuries
and exercise rehabilitation.
